This programme has been developed to address the lack of consistent standards within the private maternity nurse sector and to provide a higher level of training grounded in real-world practice.
It is not a beginner course.
It is designed for those who already hold relevant qualifications or experience and are seeking to refine their practice to a professional standard within private home environments.
Who This Programme Is For
This programme is suitable for:

Holders of a full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification

Registered nurses or midwives

Experienced qualified professionals working with babies in a professional capacity

Those transitioning into private maternity nurse roles
Applicants must:

Have experience working with babies

Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS

Be able to access babies in a real care environment during the programme
