NNEB Paragon Training – Terms and Conditions

Key Terms (Please Read Before Applying)

By booking or applying for any NNEB Paragon Maternity Training course or programme, you confirm that:

• Places are limited and may be subject to suitability review before acceptance
• Your place is only secured once payment has been received and confirmation has been issued
• A 14-day cooling-off period applies unless the course begins within that period and you have agreed to proceed
• Refunds are not available once the cooling-off period has expired
• Courses are delivered live online and recordings are not routinely provided
• Attendance at live teaching sessions is therefore expected
• Certificates of completion are only issued where course requirements have been met
• NNEB Paragon reserves the right to refuse or remove participants whose conduct is considered inappropriate or unprofessional
• All courses are designed as professional development training for qualified or experienced professionals working with babies and families
• These courses are intended to maintain high professional standards and are not designed as casual or introductory baby care courses

1. Programme Status

NNEB Paragon Maternity Training courses and programmes are professional development training designed for qualified or experienced professionals working with babies and families.

These programmes are not regulated qualifications and do not confer a licence to practise.

Certificates issued by NNEB Paragon Maternity Training confirm participation and completion of the relevant training programme only.

Learners remain responsible for working within their own professional competence, qualifications, insurance arrangements and applicable laws or professional guidance at all times.

 

2. Application and Acceptance

  • All applicants are assessed for suitability

  • The Provider reserves the right to accept or decline applications

  • Entry requirements must be met

A place is only confirmed when:

  • You have been formally accepted and / or

  • Full payment has been received

 

3. Fees and Payment

  • Full payment is required before the Programme start date

  • No access will be granted without payment

  • Fees are non-transferable

 

4. Cooling-Off Period (UK Law)

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from payment.

  • Full refund available within this period

  • If the course has started, a pro-rata deduction may apply

 

5. Refund Policy (Strict)

After 14 days:

  • No refunds will be issued

This includes:

  • Non-attendance

  • Withdrawal

  • Change of circumstances

  • Work or personal commitments

If the Provider cancels the Programme:

  • A full refund will be issued

 

6. Attendance Requirements

These is a live, taught programmes.

You are required to:

  • Attend all scheduled live sessions

  • Participate professionally

Failure to attend may result in:

  • Removal from the Programme

  • Withholding of certification

Recordings (if provided) are not a substitute for attendance.

 

7. Non-Attendance and Withdrawal

  • Failure to attend does not cancel your place

  • No refunds will be issued

  • Re-enrolment is not guaranteed and may incur additional fees

8. Completion Requirements

To complete the Programme, learners must:

  • Attend required sessions

  • Complete all coursework

  • Meet required professional standards

Learners must demonstrate both knowledge and applied understanding, consistent with professional training expectations

 

9. Failure to Complete

If you:

  • Do not complete required work

  • Do not meet standards

  • Withdraw

You will:

  • Not receive certification

  • Not receive a refund

Extensions are:

  • Not guaranteed

  • Granted only at the Provider’s discretion

 

10. Professional Conduct (Critical)

You are expected to behave as a professional throughout the Programme.

This includes:

  • Respectful communication

  • Confidentiality

  • Appropriate engagement

The Provider reserves the right to remove any learner without refund for:

  • Unprofessional behaviour

  • Disruptive conduct

  • Breach of standards

 

11. Safeguarding and Duty of Care (Non-Negotiable)

All learners must adhere to professional safeguarding standards at all times.

This includes:

  • Acting in the best interests of the baby and family

  • Demonstrating safe, appropriate, and responsive care

  • Recognising and responding appropriately to risk or harm

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Any form of physical punishment or harmful practice

  • Unsafe care practices

  • Ignoring safeguarding concerns

Any safeguarding concern may result in:

  • Immediate removal from the Programme

  • No refund

  • Referral to appropriate authorities where required

This reflects the safeguarding and welfare expectations within UK early years practice frameworks.

12. Intellectual Property

All materials remain the intellectual property of NNEB Paragon.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Share

  • Distribute

  • Use commercially

 

13. Certification

Certificates are issued only where:

  • All requirements are met

  • Standards are achieved

No certificate will be issued for:

  • Non-completion

  • Insufficient attendance

  • Failure to meet standards

 

14. Liability

The Provider is not responsible for:

  • Employment outcomes

  • Work undertaken after completion

Learners are responsible for:

  • Working within their competence

  • Following applicable laws and guidance

 

15. Programme Changes

The Provider may:

  • Adjust course content

  • Reschedule sessions

  • Modify delivery if required

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
